During my hospital stay I realised that sometimes, the people who love us, and the specialists who care for us, don't ask us the questions that matter. And sometimes, when we try and tell them, they don't hear our explanations.

Zack and his bedfellow in the hospital are examples of that 'not knowing, not understanding, not being heard. This teenage boy is far more than a list of symtoms.
